Theresa & Josh's Intimate Detroit Wedding

I vividly remember sitting in my room last October working on some stuff and seeing a new inquiry pop up from someone, and the wedding was in like three days. A friend of Theresa + Josh reached out to me for them, to take some stress off of their plate I’m assuming. Which, props to you friend, you’re an absolute GEM for that one.

Their original photographer had an emergency, and they needed to find a new one. I responded almost immediately to try and work something out. We can’t have anyone out here getting married and not having a photographer. That simply just won’t do in my book.

So, with 3 days before their wedding, we communicated as much as we possibly could, to get every single detail possible squared away before the morning of. If you know me, and you’ll get to know me reading more of these blogs, I THRIVE under pressure and crazy situations. So, this was a piece of cake for me to handle.

The morning of the wedding I got there to find this stunning airbnb (I think, correct me in the comments if I’m wrong guys) that the ladies were getting ready at. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to photograph the details of the day, her dress, etc.

But really, we need to talk about the venue, Rose’s Fine Food & Wine. Because my GOODNESS this was the cutest dang setup I’ve photographed in years. Theresa & Josh had their first look inside the little diner, and they got married outside on the patio. This made for the most adorable small ceremony and reception anyone could’ve wished for. It BREAKS MY HEART that they’re closing at the end of the month.

Special thanks to the vendors:
